Qualifications

• Master's degree from a Nurse Practitioner program and state NP licensure.
• One year of nurse practitioner experience in public health programs.
• Arizona driver’s license; Arizona residents must have one within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of policies, guidelines, and standards of the Arizona State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation.
• Input computer data and perform analysis and documentation.
• Provide counseling for family planning and Well Woman program.
• Implement, revise, and evaluate clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Educate staff on protocols, current clinical events, and presentations.
• Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues and restricted County information.
• Promote accountability, commitment, and teamwork to enrich lives beyond expectation.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Provide full-scope reproductive health services: contraception, STD care, pregnancy testing and counseling, and cancer screenings.
