Job summary

DeKalb Public Health in Decatur, GA, seeks a Public Health Nurse 2 to deliver professional nursing care within the adult health programs, immunizations, and screening services. You will work under general supervision in the Clinical Services division, following established nurse protocols and contributing to community health goals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing and GA RN license with CPR, or an Associate's in nursing with PHN experience and CPR.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Georgia RN license with CPR certification.
An Associate's degree in nursing plus 1 year PHN experience and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care according to established protocols.
Administer immunizations to infants, children, and adults and perform screenings.
Conduct client assessments and educate on health problems; arrange referrals.
Assist with vaccine inventory and related program duties.
