Waukesha County Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting a Public Health Nurse to join the Public Health Division. The Nurse will promote community health, perform disease investigations, provide immunizations, maternal/child visits, and health education to diverse populations.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about health equity, deliver client-centered care with emotional intelligence, and build trusted partnerships inside and outside the public health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.
• Current Wisconsin RN license required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicable disease investigation and case management.
• Maternal and child health home visiting.
• Community health education.
• Clinical work including immunizations.
• Sexually transmitted disease screening.
• Tuberculosis case management.
