Applications are now being accepted for a Public Health Nurse with the Lincoln County Health Department. This position is scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Provides public health nursing services to individuals, families, and population groups. Duties include communicable disease follow-up, immunizations, oral health services, and maternal and child health. Nursing activities include, but are not limited to, analysis of health data, vaccinations, health screening and follow-up, health education and advocacy, coalition building and collaborating with community partners to promote the health of a population. The public health nurse can be expected to assist in the provision of public health services in the event of a public health emergency.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin required. One to two years’ experience in public health nursing preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school preferred. Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of insurance and a good driving record.
Starting wage of $31.92 to $35.57 per hour based on experience.
