Qualifications

• Education: graduate or higher level degree in professional nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: current, active, unrestricted RN license in US territory or DC.
• Foreign nursing graduates must have official certification from CGFNS if applicable.
• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree may be required for GS-11 level.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional community/public health nursing services through direct care to individuals, families, and populations.
• Conduct home and school visiting and population-based assessment, prevention, and intervention activities.
• Perform chart reviews and manage/coordinate community health nursing programs and units as needed.
• Work may include evenings, weekends, or holidays and on-call hours as required.
