PUBLIC HEALTH NURSETRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTRonan

Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Montana or compact state, required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required. Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, and 700 certification within six (6) months of hire. Valid Montana Drivers License, required. Must pass a background and suitability check according to Public Law 101-630; the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. Must participate in pre-hire drug test and random drug tests thereafter. Bachelors degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution with a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience OR Masters degree: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Public Health, Community Health, or related field with a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience. Equivalent combination of advanced public health nursing experience, program management, population health, community-based nursing, or specialized training/certifications will be considered. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcripts, certifications, proof of state licensure, copy of valid drivers license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veterans preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test, and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period.

Salary is Negotiable DOE, plus benefits, may be employed under contract.
