Job summary

The Connecticut Department of Public Health invites applications for a Public Health Services Manager to oversee the Facility Licensing and Investigations Section in Hartford.

You will supervise staff, develop and implement protocols, perform inspections and enforcement actions, and lead quality assurance initiatives across statewide facilities.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hartford with statewide travel and a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and program leadership.

Qualifications

• 9 years of professional experience in a health organization.
• 2 years of supervisory experience planning, developing and executing comprehensive health programs.
• Experience interpreting and applying healthcare laws and regulations and conducting inspections/investigations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present to groups and write reports.
• Experience with electronic databases and quality assurance activities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects and supervise staff.
