Job summary

National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) seeks a Program Analyst, Law and Policy to support the Public Health Law and Policy portfolio. You will assist in project planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation for local health departments, with opportunities to engage in policy concepts and stakeholder outreach.

The role requires strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, and frequent collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with minimum relevant experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Knowledge of public health law issues and the U.S. legal system.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe products.

Responsibilities

• Informs and supports program and project development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation.
• Write and disseminate reports; assist with surveys and briefings.
• Coordinate meetings, develop tools, and share information with stakeholders.
• Support public health law and policy activities for local health departments.
• Represent NACCHO at external meetings and conferences.
