Mérieux NutriSciences - North America is seeking a Lab Assistant in Salida, CA to support routine lab operations, maintain a sterile environment, and assist with testing under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to follow instructions, basic LIMS knowledge, and basic lab safety understanding. Competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and enter client data in LIMS.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and practices.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clean laboratory by discarding waste and sanitizing surfaces.
• Store chemicals, reagents, and supplies and maintain stock.
• Clean and decontaminate equipment, glassware, and test panels.
• Perform quality control checks and assist with testing procedures.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance per leadership.
• Assist audits and ensure a safe working environment.
