Job summary

MPHI, a Michigan-based nonprofit public health institute, is seeking an Assistant Inventory and Logistics Coordinator for an in-person position in Lansing. The temporary role supports the BEPESoC within MDHHS by coordinating warehouse space, organizing deliveries, and shipments across Michigan.

Candidates should have a driver’s license, 2 years of related experience, and be prepared to operate a vehicle for moves; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Requires 2 years of experience in the field.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor storage and distribution of goods.
• Receive and record new stock and move stock to shelves or trucks.
• Implement an inventory tracking system for optimized control.
• Document daily shipments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Create and sustain a detailed inventory.
• Evaluate new inventory and ensure it is ready to ship.
• Coordinate with team members on current inventory.
• Represent MPHI and MDHHS in operations.
