Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health or biological/physical sciences required.
• One year of professional experience in environmental health or related field.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, educates, promotes programs, and enforces environmental health laws and rules.
• Maintains records, collects data, analyzes samples, and prepares reports.
• Tests water samples for bacteriological contamination.
• Reviews plans for new or remodeled facilities and permits for food service and related operations.

Education
