Sauk County is seeking a Health Educator for the Public Health Department to advance community health through education, programs, and policy initiatives.

The role involves leading community health assessments, managing grant activities, and coordinating communications and campaigns across diverse populations. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education, Public Health, or related field.
• 4+ years in public health, health education, grant administration, policy/planning, or community organizing.
• Grant administration experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and report on educational programs and policies to meet community needs.
• Lead CHA and CHIP processes; prepare CHA and CHIP reports.
• Coordinate department publications; develop marketing and educational campaigns.
• Coordinate community events and social media strategy; prepare content for outreach.
• Grant management: track progress, report to funders, and ensure deliverables.
