Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking a Dentist to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered dental care for American Indian communities. You will manage complex cases, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to advance health equity and community well-being.

Responsibilities include comprehensive dental treatments, patient education, and maintaining clinical records while supporting quality improvement and infection control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges and licensure requirements.
• Experience with complex dental cases and coordinating care with medical providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and emergencies.
• Independently evaluate and manage complex dental conditions, coordinating with medical providers for patients with complex health or behavioral needs.
• Deliver patient education and preventive care, ensuring patients understand treatment options, risks and post-treatment care.
• Maintain clinical records, participate in quality improvement, infection control, and contribute to program operations.
