Job summary

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking a Health Professional III to support occupational health surveillance, data analysis, and partner collaborations within the Health Equity Branch. The role focuses on SOII and CFOI surveillance, wildfire smoke preparedness, and improving indoor air quality in community settings.

The position emphasizes data management, reporting, and stakeholder outreach to advance Colorado's public health outcomes and equity.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant experience gathering, processing, and cleaning raw data from digital networks, physical security feeds, or automated tracking databases; or related health surveillance/exposure data work.
• Combination of related education in technical/analytical fields and experience meeting six years of qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert for SOII and CFOI surveillance programs.
• Perform data collection, processing, and coding for survey responses.
• Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to support indoor air quality and wildfire smoke preparedness initiatives.
• Prepare analytical reports and guidance for stakeholders and decision makers.
• Collaborate with external partners to enhance occupational health data collection and interpretation.
