Job summary

Bestica is seeking an Epidemiologist to support Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The role focuses on integrating surveillance data, building decision support tools, and creating dashboards for commanders and health teams.

Candidates must hold a master’s level degree in public health or epidemiology and be proficient with surveillance systems, HL7, and SAS/R. On-site at Wright-Patterson AFB with a strong emphasis on data-driven operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or similar master’s level degree.
• HIPAA training current or within 1 month of employment.
• Experience with health surveillance systems and epidemiologic data.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and harmonize public health data from multiple systems for MDC2 capabilities.
• Develop decision support systems and evidence-based public health decisions.
• Design dashboards and HUDs translating PH data into actionable intelligence.
