Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, seeks a Data Science SME to support the CDC with expert leadership, technical consultation, and strategic guidance in data science, advanced analytics, AI, ML, cloud computing, and public health informatics.

The successful candidate will support CDC leadership and scientific staff, supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives, advanced analytical methodologies, healthcare data integration, and the

Competenze

Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
10+ years in data science or public health informatics.
Experience with ML, AI, predictive analytics.
Experience with large healthcare datasets.
Ability to advise senior leadership on modernization.

Mansioni

Provide strategic leadership for data management, reporting, and information management.
Develop reports, executive briefings, and recommendations for decision making.
Lead data governance and archiving of public-use datasets.
Direct development of reproducible data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R.
Develop dashboards and visualizations with Power BI and other platforms.
Coordinate cross-functional activities among CDC programs and external partners.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain data collection templates, dictionaries, and metadata standards.
Ensure data quality through QA reviews and continuous improvement.
