Job summary

The State of Nevada Health Authority, Office of Analytics, seeks a Senior Health Resource Analyst to perform statistical analyses of communicable disease data, linking and validating multiple sources, and producing routine and ad hoc analytic reports for public health decision-making.

The role develops analytic code using SAS, SQL, and related software, translating complex results into actionable insights under tight deadlines to support program planning and policy development.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting statistical analyses on large datasets.
• Ability to link and validate disparate health data sources.
• Proficiency in QA processes for data quality and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain analytic code using SAS/SQL or comparable tools.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc analytic reports and summaries.
