Job summary

Guidehouse Digital, LLC seeks an Associate Public Health Informaticist to enhance public health data exchange and interoperability. You will support health information systems, HL7/ELR/eCR processes, and workflow documentation while collaborating with epidemiologists, analysts, and technical teams to improve information flow across healthcare and public health ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in a related field (public health informatics, health IT, information systems or computer science).
• 1+ years of experience in public health informatics, health IT, interoperability or surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with HL7, CDA, FHIR, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping workflows, and producing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support design, testing, and operation of health information systems and data exchange workflows.
• Assist with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data flow analysis.
• Support HL7, ELR, eCR, and related health data exchange processes.
• Help validate, troubleshoot, and monitor health data workflows and interfaces.
• Contribute to implementation guides, mappings and interface specs.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, informaticists and developers to improve data quality.
