Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Public Health Data Governance Analyst to lead the development and operation of data governance practices within the Public Health Division. You will collaborate with Data Stewards, Owners and technical teams to curate and maintain data assets and metadata in Collibra, ensuring governed, well-documented data is available for effective use.

You will also help develop SOPs, standards, and procedures for consistent data stewardship across the division, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality practices.
Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar data governance/catalog tools, including user training and asset curation.
Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with business and technical stakeholders to gather and maintain metadata.

Responsibilities

Gather, document, validate, and maintain business and technical metadata with data stewards.
Maintain Public Health data catalog, glossary, definitions, and governance docs.
Document data ownership, stewardship, classifications, business rules, data quality, and data lineage.
Identify gaps and opportunities to improve metadata and data documentation.
