Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services seeks a Public Health Analyst II to support CDC/NCBDDD programs focused on birth defects, developmental disabilities, maternal and child health, and related public health initiatives. The role involves analytical support, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination to monitor and improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Biology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years supporting public health surveillance, epidemiology, healthcare data collection, or public health program operations.
• Experience managing and analyzing large public health, healthcare, or surveillance datasets.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop prevalence estimates of congenital heart defects in the United States using diverse data sources.
• Create study, data collection, and data analysis plans for review and approval.
• Perform weekly statistical analyses and generate reports for CDC staff using SAS, R, or other tools.
• Prepare reports and briefing materials from surveillance data for publications and briefings.
• Design study elements including power/sample size calculations and data management plans.
