Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Data Analyst I to support Blood, Organs, and Other Tissues surveillance for the Medical Product Safety Branch (MPSB).

The role involves data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with epidemiologists, statisticians, health educators, and SMEs to inform prevention activities. Proficiency in SAS or Python and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field.
• 1–2 years of public health data analysis experience.
• Proficient with SAS, R, Python and data manipulation.
• Ability to obtain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Antibiotic Stewardship with a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop analytic plans using claims-based or EHR data.
• Perform data analysis of large datasets with SAS and/or Python.
• Prepare scientific manuscripts and coordinate clearance.
• Interpret data from multiple sources to inform projects.
