Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Data Analyst I to provide data management and analytic expertise support for the Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch (ERIB).

The role involves applying data management best practices, generating SAS/R/SQL analyses, preparing tables and visuals for scientific publications, and coordinating with project leaders. A Master’s degree is preferred and CDC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a public health or quantitative field.
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, etc.
• Knowledge of data management systems and data management software.
• Experience with government procedures and guidelines."
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply data management and analytic expertise to administrative and other data sources.
• Create and submit SAS/R/SQL code for quality control, data manipulation, reports and cleaning.
• Perform statistical analyses including frequency analyses, 2x2 analyses, and regression models.
• Prepare tables, charts, and data dictionaries for publications and proposals.
• Develop and maintain project databases, SharePoint sites, and visualization tools.
• Coordinate with internal and external project leaders and partners.
