Job summary

Southern Plains Tribal Health Board is seeking a Data Analyst to support the ETHIC program. You will analyze epidemiologic data, monitor program performance, and prepare reports and dashboards to inform grant activities and decisions.

You will collaborate with tribal, state, and federal partners, translate data into actionable insights, and help strengthen organizational capacity through rigorous evaluation and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Data Science or closely related field.
• Two years of professional experience in epidemiology, public health surveillance, data analysis, program evaluation, or related field.
• Experience working with Tribal Nations, IHS, UIOs, or other public health organizations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and statistics/visualization tools (R, PowerBI, ArcGIS, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve data collection, analysis, and reporting systems for the ETHIC Program and related activities.
• Analyze HIV, STI, HCV, and related data to assess reach, outcomes, trends, gaps, and progress toward objectives.
• Prepare evaluation and grant reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for communications.
• Collaborate with staff and partners on data and evaluation activities.
• Support other data-related tasks as needed.
