Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surveillance for respiratory-associated hospitalizations (COVID-19, influenza, RSV).
• Collect medical, epidemiologic, and other data; ensure data quality and completeness.
• Serve as liaison between CDPHE and hospital records departments and data sources.
• Support data validation, cleaning, and entry into central databases (EpiTrax, REDCap).
• Help with training and clarifications for new surveillance staff.
