OKLAHOMA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH seeks a Complaint, Compliance, and Enforcement Supervisor to manage intake, triage, and enforcement for Medical Facilities Service. The role focuses on overseeing staff, ensuring documentation, and applying CMS guidance to investigations.

The position requires nursing knowledge and the ability to assess compliance with state and federal laws, with a full-time schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• CMS initial, on-going, and annual training completed.
• Nursing or health care background to assess and capture complaint allegations.

Responsibilities

• Complete CMS initial, on-going, and annual training to ensure knowledge of the complaint process, rules, statutes, and guidance.
• Receive incoming complaints and inquiries for all facility types under the Medical Facilities Service.
• Document all complaints into the intake system during the intake process.
• Attempt contact with complainants for 100% of intake cases and document attempts with dates/times.
• Assign relevant allegations to complaints based on applicable statutes, regulations, and CMS guidance.
• Notify applicable manager for high-priority complaints to place on the survey calendar.
• Ensure intake staff follow all requirements timely and accurately.
• Use nursing/healthcare background to assess allegations of noncompliant practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of all complaints.
