Zusammenfassung

The Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) seeks Assistant Analyst/Analyst/Senior Analyst to support the Health Task Force and DOHMH units in New York City. This role participates in preparing expense, revenue, and capital budgets, analyzes fiscal impacts, and reports on program developments for a range of health agencies.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a passion for public health policy.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
Excellent communication, written and verbal.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience in budgetary planning or financial analysis preferred.

Aufgaben

Assist in preparation and analysis of the expense and revenue budgets of the Office of Chief Medical Examiner and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of the capital budgets for the Office of Chief Medical Examiner and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Prepare high-level reports with minimal supervision.
Monitor expenditures, revenues, and headcount; analyze variances from the financial plan.
Analyze data and indicators to assess programs within the agencies.
Review legislation and regulations with fiscal impact and analyze their effects.
