Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience or one (1) year of experience at the lower-level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or position equivalent.
• Two (2) years of recent experience performing accounts-payable functions is preferred.
• Associate’s degree in a business curriculum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile accounting records, statements, journals, ledgers or reports.
• Disburse payments and post to appropriate accounts.
• May analyze financial reports to assess compliance.
• Prepare requested materials for audits of financial data or records.
• Process or reconcile financial transactions such as accounts payable and/or invoices for processing payments.
