Job summary

Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a Project Manager & Closing Coordinator to support attorneys through the lifecycle of complex public finance transactions, including due diligence, deal timelines, and the preparation and coordination of closing documents and records.

The role requires strong planning, multitasking, and communication skills, with 3+ years of relevant experience and advanced Word/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of project management or transactional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate execution of transactions and successful closings.
• Assist in project diligence, develop deal timelines, track tasks.
• Prepare closing documents, filings, and reports.
• Manage an electronic closing platform and closing records.
• Provide administrative support and scheduling.
• Draft proposals to prospective clients and prepare invoices.
• Coordinate meetings and implement firm policies locally.
