Qualifications

• 3 years of research or analytical experience in U.S. public finance.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to shift between multiple projects as priorities change.

Responsabilités

• Analyze factors to prepare Fitch’s Local Government Rating Model for new and existing ratings.
• Review annual financial reports, budgets, capital plans and public disclosures.
• Identify rating-relevant issues for review by analytical team and rating committee.
• Meet with issuers and their fiscal agents during management meetings.
• Present rating recommendations and serve as voting member on rating committees.
• Support publication of rating action commentaries and Fitch Wires.
• Attend industry events and engage with investors and bankers.
