Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Public Finance Associate to join our Infrastructure Team. You will develop financial models, analyze debt capacity, and execute bond financings for public sector clients nationwide.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to manage projects, and prior Public Finance experience. You will collaborate with DCM, underwriting, and debt capital markets to craft solutions and respond to RFPs under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong finance fundamentals with Excel modeling.
• Public Finance experience in investment banking or advisory is required.
• Experience with bond structuring and DBC workflows.
• Ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized financial models in Excel for bond financing structures.
• Use DBC software to prepare bond structures.
• Perform credit and debt capacity analyses for specific credits.
• Prepare responses to RFPs and present materials for client meetings.
• Create and manage debt profiles and evaluate refunding/restructuring opportunities.
