Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of public finance transactions.

• Support financings for nonprofit healthcare, educational, cultural, and low-income housing facilities.
• Assist with financings involving energy, water, wastewater, multifamily housing, and other development projects.
• Work on public-private partnerships, securitizations, and secondary market transactions.
• Support matters involving IRS audits, SEC investigations, enforcement actions, bankruptcies, and workouts, as applicable.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to execute complex financing transactions.

My client, a leading Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Public Finance Associate with 2–4 years of relevant law firm experience to join its Public Finance Group in San Francisco. The group is consistently ranked the No. 1 bond counsel firm in the United States and advises on a broad range of sophisticated public finance transactions across the country.

The role offers the opportunity to work with state and local government entities, nonprofit organizations, investment banks, developers, and other clients on financings involving public infrastructure, healthcare, education, housing, energy, and other capital projects.
