Raymond James is seeking an Analyst or Associate in Municipal Public Finance to grow client engagements for state and local governments, helping to finance infrastructure projects across education, transportation and utilities. You’ll build financial models, prepare investor materials, and draft offering documents while collaborating with experienced bankers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, math or a related field.
• 1‑4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand Government Finance: analyze finances of cities, states and public institutions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Pitch creative financing ideas to fund large projects with governments and private sponsors.
• Build financial models in Excel to forecast costs, savings, and repayment strategies for public projects; leverage AI tools.
• Research sector and stay updated on trends affecting clients across Education, Transportation, Utilities, Real Estate and more.
• Execute deals by analyzing project revenues, debt structures, legal documents, and offering statements; assess refinancing and cash flow.
