Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, math or related field; 1–4 years related experience.
FINRA Securities Industry Exam (SIE), Series 52 License, Series 63 License, and Series 50 License within 12 months of hire.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Knowledge of government finance concepts and financial modeling basics.

Responsibilities

Understand government finance and analyze municipal finances for new initiatives and projects.
Pitch creative financing ideas to fund big projects (buildings, utilities, airports, schools, etc.).
Build financial models in Excel to forecast costs, savings, and repayment strategies.
Research sector trends and keep the team informed on developments affecting clients.
Execute deals by analyzing revenues, debt profiles, and reviewing offering statements.
