Piper Sandler is seeking a Public Finance Investment Banking Analyst to join the Healthcare team in Columbus, Ohio. You will help structure debt, analyze credit quality, and support bond issuances while collaborating with senior bankers and clients in a competitive, team-focused environment.

You will gain exposure to not-for-profit, government, and development projects, with mentorship and opportunities to advance within the firm’s public finance franchise.

Formación

• B.S. or B.A. required; preferred majors include business, economics, mathematics, political science, engineering, or public administration.
• 0-3 years of related experience; recent graduates considered.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Strong interest in public finance/public sector work; high-quality written/verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure; high integrity and accountability.
• Strong client-facing communication; team-oriented and reliable.

Responsabilidades

• Quantitative modeling: develop financial models to structure debt transactions.
• Credit analysis: research client debt loads and local economic conditions.
• Transaction execution: assist in bond issuance steps and closing documents.
• Marketing & pitching: prepare materials for financing proposals and bond ratings.
• Documentation: draft disclosure documents and coordinate with clients and legal.
