Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least two years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GASB standards; governmental accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, reconcile, and verify financial transactions and records, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Perform budget-to-actual and variance analysis; prepare financial reports for management.
• Assist in preparing the annual Budget Book.
• Forecast City cash flow to support liquidity and inform decisions.
• Administer Procurement Card program and support Accounts Payable and other finance functions.
• Conduct financial research and ad hoc reports; strengthen internal controls and improve processes.
