Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Criminal defense experience is welcomed but not required.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong time management and deadline management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions.
• Provide timely, accurate reporting to clients and ensure compliance with case management requirements.
• Evaluate, analyze, assess, and execute litigation strategies.
• Proactively communicate with clients throughout the course of litigation.
