We are partnered with a well-established civil litigation defense firm in California seeking an experienced Attorney to join its Long Beach team. The firm represents public entities and government clients in complex matters, with several attorneys recognized among California's Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

Responsibilities include representing public entities, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery from inception through resolution.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing (required).
• 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Experience in public entity/governmental defense (required).

• Represent public entity and governmental clients in civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing (required)
• 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Experience in public entity or governmental entity, or defense litigation (required).

Salary and Other Compensation:

Annual base salary range: $150k - $220k/year. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
