Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Public Involvement & Planning Specialist to support public engagement for Connecticut projects and CDM Smith offices nationwide. You will assist in developing Public Engagement Plans, implement them, and help gather feedback from diverse communities.

Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills are essential to convey complex information clearly. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 1 year of related experience; travel may be required.
• Equivalent related experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Domestic and international travel may be required; travel frequency varies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of Public Engagement Plans for projects.
• Implement public engagement plans and related components.
• Support communications and outreach efforts with diverse communities.
• Prepare and present information for project stakeholders (officials, citizens, business reps).
