Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in transportation field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dissemination of outreach materials and information to stakeholders per the public outreach plan.
• Review records and reports from public involvement meetings and refine social engagement strategies.
• Draft speeches and presentation materials; prepare remarks and correspondence for events.
• Fact-check reports, articles and publications.
• Develop and implement digital strategies for web-based communications.
• Help establish KPIs and review draft reports for campaign milestones.
• Coordinate public meetings and engagements to support outreach goals.
• Interact with clients to coordinate communication programs and goals.
