Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid to senior-level corporate associate to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The role focuses on public company reporting and compliance, governance, and capital markets, with exposure to issuers, underwriters, and financial intermediaries.

The candidate will work on transactions, draft memos and contracts, and support a national capital markets practice while engaging with clients and colleagues to develop strategies. JD required; AZ bar admission preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public company and capital markets.
• Experience with public companies and periodic reporting.
• Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Experience with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance requirements.
• Experience with issuers, underwriters, and financial intermediaries.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions.
• Draft legal documents, including memos and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop transaction strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities, including client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
