Join us as a Public Cloud Project Manager at Canonical

We are seeking a Public Cloud Project Manager who will focus on customer relationship management and advocacy for Canonical's technical assets. This role is ideal for a technologist passionate about Linux and Project Management, eager to build a career with us. Key Responsibilities

• Lead account management for Canonical's Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts, collaborating with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within schedule, scope, and budget.
• Shape Statements of Work (SoW) and manage project life cycles to meet client and company goals.
• Identify and mitigate technical and project risks.
• Maintain strong customer focus and conduct regular status meetings and reviews.
• Manage third-party deliverables and cross-organizational engineering requests.
• Advocate for Canonical's technologies with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Cloud, software development project management, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and public cloud environments.
• Experience in software engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience managing remote, cross-cultural teams and clients.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
• Agile Project Management Certification (Scrum Master or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Location and Travel

This position is remote within the Americas region, with periodic international travel based on project needs.
