Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Irving, Texas is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to steer a team of cloud network and security engineers. You will shape strategy, design scalable architectures, and drive deployment and security of network resources across AWS and GCP.

This role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to align cloud initiatives with Citi's business goals.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience as a technical leader, with significant cloud engineering leadership.
Proven experience leading an engineering team in a complex corporate environment.
Expert level understanding of public cloud network infrastructure services in AWS and GCP.
Expert level understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks in AWS and GCP.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, including AWS EKS and GKE, and related networking concepts.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, Python and Go.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters.

Responsibilities

Define and articulate a comprehensive vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the network engineering team.
Develop architectures for scalable, reliable cloud networks and ensure performance.
Lead a team of cloud network and security engineers and full-stack developers.
Enable CI/CD and automation through IaC, tooling, and policy as code.
Collaborate with Citi teams to align public cloud initiatives with business goals.
Champion security, governance, and regulatory compliance across cloud resources.
