Responsibilities

• Develop new software solutions and services using cloud software development techniques.
• Work with the software engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the organization.
• Plan, design, and develop cloud-based applications.
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with the organization's security guidelines.
• Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with DevOps to develop tooling and infrastructure for cloud development and cloud operations use cases, focusing on microservices deployment and distributed systems monitoring and fault analysis.
• Execute job using Test Driven Development (TDD) approach, supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment patterns.
• Develop processes for enforcing cloud governance, architecture, operating procedures, monitoring, and system standards.
• Respond to incidents, own them and drive to completion, participate in root cause analysis.
• Solve difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.
• Lead moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and support the realization of operational and strategic plans.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in distributed & cloud computing, software & cloud design, programming languages, agile development methodologies, or a related field; or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
• Preferred Certifications: AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, CSA.
