Iowa PBS is seeking a creative Social Media & Digital Strategist to lead its social media presence and digital audience engagement. The role develops and executes platform-specific content, manages channels, and leverages performance data to improve strategy across programs and initiatives.

The strategist collaborates with production, education, development, and marketing teams to reflect the network's voice and priorities, traveling statewide as needed to capture content and support productions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, graphic design, or communications; 2+ years of content planning and development experience.
• Strong ability to create platform-specific content and story ideas.
• Experience with audience engagement and public-facing communications.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms to support programming and campaigns.
• Create and coordinate platform-specific content including posts, graphics, video, and stories.
• Engage with audiences; monitor comments and conversations to inform strategy and respond to issues.
• Analyze performance and optimize campaigns using data; report insights to teams.
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, education, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging.
