Job summary

A prominent entertainment company in Pennsylvania is seeking a Bartender who will establish rapport with guests and efficiently mix and serve beverages while adhering to health standards. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and some bartending experience. Strong customer service skills and the ability to operate a POS system are essential. Qualifications

  • Must have six months or less of Bartender experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Must have the ability to respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
  • Certification requirements by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • Must read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from guests.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must have problem solving skills and adapt to various situations.
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions (written, verbal, etc.).
  • Must have basic computer knowledge; ability to operate POS systems.
  • Must qualify for a license and meet credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • Must be able to obtain proper food handler certification and RAMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with internal and external guests.
  • Mix and serve beverages to bar patrons and servers.
  • Maintain neat and clean work area following health standards.
  • Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires.
  • Accurate and efficiently uses POS system.
  • Tracks usage and inventory and orders stock to maintain established pars.
  • Maintains awareness of guest alcohol intake following RAMP guidelines.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.
  • Restocks station for start of next shift at end of shift.
  • Maintains well-groomed appearance in accordance with Food & Beverage Grooming Standards at all times.
  • Participates as a team member with all servers, barbacks and casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Declares tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.

Responsibilities
  • Establishes a pleasant rapport with internal and external guests.
  • Responsible for knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation, and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends.
  • Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires.
  • Accurate and efficiently uses POS system.
  • Tracks usage and inventory and orders stock to maintain established pars.
  • Maintains awareness of guest alcohol intake following RAMP guidelines.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.
