Job summary

City of Boise is seeking a Public Art Program Coordinator to lead and coordinate public art projects for Boise Airport or the General Fund, working with the Department of Arts & History. The role oversees planning, budgeting, and collaboration with artists, vendors, and community stakeholders from concept to installation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and substantial experience in project management or public art.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in art, arts administration, business administration, project management, design or a related field.
• 6 years of experience working in project management, public art, arts administration, or a related field.
• or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of public art projects for Boise Airport or General Fund in collaboration with Arts & History Public Art team.
• Manage procurement, contracting and artist selection activities, including calls-to-artists and contract negotiations.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, logistics, contracts and deliverables for multiple concurrent public art projects.
