Job summary

Sycuan is hiring a Public Areas Attendant to maintain clean, welcoming spaces for guests in a fast-paced casino environment. You will ensure outside public areas and restrooms are spotless and orderly, supporting a positive guest experience.

The role requires a California driver’s license, at least 6 months cleaning experience, and the ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively in English. Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• License requirement: CA Driver’s License in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months cleaning experience.
• Desirable: HS Diploma or GED; housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans outside public areas: tables, ashtrays, trash receptacles, pathways.
• Cleans restrooms, mirrors, toilets, shelves; refills supplies; vacuums and tidies spaces.

Job Purpose:

Provides guests and residents with a clean and orderly environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

• Provides clean and orderly outside public areas by cleaning tables and surrounding areas, emptying ashtrays and trash receptacles, and keeping pathways free of trash and other debris.
• Provides clean and orderly environment by cleaning restrooms, mirrors, toilets, wiping shelves, refilling toilet paper, paper towels and other sundries, replacing trash liners, mopping floors, cleaning tables and chairs, vacuuming carpets, and disposing of boxes, trash and other debris as required.

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

Essential:

• CA Driver’s License in good standing
• 6 months cleaning experience

Desirable:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Housekeeping experience
