Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Public Area Attendant to join our service-oriented team in Nashville. The role focuses on maintaining clean and welcoming hotel public spaces, including restrooms, hallways, and lobby areas, while delivering a high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• At least 1 year in housekeeping or hotel housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all public hotel areas to quality standards.
• Cleans restrooms, dusts, vacuums, mops, and maintains cleanliness of lobby and corridors.
• Empties trash and communicates tasks via two-way radio.
• Ensures lobby, elevators, and front desk areas are clean and presentable.
• Checks restrooms hourly to ensure neatness and supplies.
• Delivers items to rooms as needed and assists with guest rooms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized.
• Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris.
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests. Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean.
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role
