Schulte Hospitality Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a dynamic Public Area Attendant to join our team. This role supports clean, welcoming public spaces across hotel properties, ensuring restrooms, lobbies, and corridors meet high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, a strong communicator, and a team player with at least a high school diploma and one year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotel patron areas is preferred.
• Team player with a customer-service mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public hotel areas to meet quality standards.
• Clean restrooms, dust, vacuum, mop, and ensure cleanliness of lobby, elevators, hallways, and Front Desk area.
• Communicate effectively via two-way radio and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Deliver items to rooms and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized.
• Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris.
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests. Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean.
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role
