Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee ongoing EVS operations in a casino environment. You will assist the EVS Manager, supervise shift scheduling, and monitor attendance, performance, and policy adherence to maintain clean, safe facilities for guests and staff.

The role involves coordinating supplies, conducting inventories, training staff, and supporting disciplinary processes while delivering excellent guest service and maintaining efficient department

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EVS Manager as required.
• Supervise preparation of work schedules for all EVS shift.
• Create daily and monthly rotation schedules and monitor time off requests.
• Monitor performance and attendance of staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Issue supplies and equipment as required and report discrepancies.

Job Description SummaryResponsible for the on-going operations and supervision of the Environmental Services Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Assist the EVS Manager as required.Supervise preparation of work schedules for all EVS shift.Creates schedules, daily and monthly rotation of sections and monitors time off requests.Monitors performance and attendance of staff and adherence to company policies and procedures, including all Tribal Ordinance and Regulations.Issues supplies and equipment as required.Performs inventory of supplies, receives and checks in deliveries and reports discrepancies to Manager.Submits requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.Perform duties of Attendant, when needed.Assists the EVS Manager with the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of EVS staff.Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.Schedules and trains the environmental services staff and insures that performance standards are met.Participates in dispute resolution for environmental services staff and refers disciplinary action to department manager.Leads the evaluation process for assigned staff and provides substantial input to the department manager about the performance of assigned staff.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesPublic Area AttendantCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
